The Sacred Path

Planting the foundation for herbal medicine in the community in 2019, the solely owned Fishtown, PA-based herbal apothecary, Transcending Roots, is now building upon its vision for even deeper community medicine by forming a collective-owned herbal wellness space.

When we all come together to honor our individual paths, we create a collective – a sacred community.

Opening oneself to healing is a path or way of life that is a sacred journey.

Each of us has a unique, non-linear, path to walk. We are all walking down the path alongside one another – sharing unique gifts through rich histories of gathered wisdom within our beautifully diverse community.

We are weaving a tapestry of connection where all roads lead home to ourselves.

The Sacred Path - Herbal Collective has a mission to bring education, access, and support around herbal medicine to the people and aims to create a space that provides a beacon of light along the path for everyone to come home to – to themselves and to Mother Earth – and, in turn, nourish the community.

The Sacred Path offers bulk organic dried herbs, tea blends, and herbal remedies prepared by the Sacred Path, Transcending Roots, and various other small-batch local herbalists, conscious crafts by local artisans, and metaphysical supplies.

All of our products made in-store are small-batch and prepared in ceremonial practice with the cycles of nature.

Everything is organically sourced or respectfully and ethically wildcrafted.

We work with as many local or small production farms and wholesalers as possible to bring you the highest quality gifts from the Earth.

We strive to ensure that the items made in-store and by other makers are of the absolute highest quality, local whenever possible, are always ethically and sustainably sourced, and are cruelty-free.

In addition, we provide a space that offers support for physical, spiritual, and emotional healing through our much-needed reconnection with Mother Earth.
