ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
Workshop with Lisa Levart, author/photographer of Goddess on Earth ORACLE: A Divination Deck and Guidebook with Spirited Wisdom from Your Sisters
This workshop will be an introduction to using Oracle cards to help readers get out of their comfort zone and allow hidden connections to flower. We will explore the language of images and symbols, the power of stories, and stimulate one’s intuition to gain new perspectives on each reader’s personal journey.
After learning the basic elements of the Goddess on Earth ORACLE deck, we will jump into individual readings with each other as partners. Even perfect strangers and novice readers will find themselves opening up to new ways of communicating. Interacting with the divination cards and learning to trust your intuitive response is a vibrant exercise that will deepen your personal knowledge and strengthen your connection with others.
Goddess on Earth ORACLE is a 45 card deck with iconic portraits of real women portraying the Divine Feminine. Structured around the elements; Earth, Water, Air, Fire and Spirit, the accompanying book offers readers deeper knowledge about the attributes of the myths, the perspectives of the women portrayed, and a specific action to reflect upon.
MEET THE FACILITATOR
Lisa Levart is a photographer on a mission. Rooted in myths and sacred stories, her archetypal images weave together the personal and collective journeys of women’s lives. Inspired by the collaborative process, her process makes space for personal agency, and the radical act of each woman declaring, “I am here. See me."
In 2023, Levart’s work was honored with a Brigit Award from the Association for the Study of Women and Mythology, as well as the prestigious Larry Salley Photography Award. Her photography has been exhibited widely— from galleries to museums and is represented in the permanent collection of the 9/11 Memorial Museum in NYC.
Her first book, “Goddess on Earth: Portraits of the Divine Feminine”, won a Gold Nautilus Book Award and was named one of the 100 Best New Women’s Spirituality Books by the California Institute of Integral Studies. “Goddess on Earth Oracle; A Divination Deck and Guidebook With Spirited Wisdom From Your Sisters” won a Nautilus Book Award in 2021.
